I have been doing web design for a year now and I am starting to look for a new position. I don't feel like I am learning as much as I could. I redesigned my portfolio but I would like some feed back from designers before I start looking.
Let me know what you think?

Thanks,

Just writing as i see things so I'll write something at the end that doesn't sound choppy. The bulk of your content is pushed pretty far down with the giant (but cool looking) header. On a 1024X768 monitor you can only see the top project so the banner could prompt a client to make a decision regarding your style and the fit with their needs. If you shortened the banner a bit it would give more room to your recent work. On that note I would feature another piece or two in your featured work. I would also take some time to add another post or two to the blog. it seems a bit unprofessional to have a blog and only one article from the first day it was live. I also notice that you reference a favicon in your code but it doesn't show up. You need to place it in the route directory for it to work in my experience.
Ultimately I like your site. You do good design work and have worked for some very recognizable clients and I would just put those names where people can see them. |
